When a new conversation enters the matelso platform queue, a notification tone is played. Without further configuration, the matelso standard tone is played here. For each communication type (appointment booking, chat, contact request, email, phone call, web call, video call), you can use an individual tone instead of the standard tone.

The custom tone must be uploaded to the platform beforehand, or you can use the matelso internal audio announcement generator. As an administrator, you can create or upload an audio file in the “Audio files” menu item.

Once the desired audio file has been uploaded or created, it can be saved as a notification sound. To do this, go to the “Audio notification” menu item.

Then select the communication type you want to edit:

Then select the desired file under Audio File. You can also choose between two different repeat actions.

After saving, the file can also be played back in the preview for this communication type.
